To make the day as safe and fun as possible we ask that everyone take the follow steps:

  1. Register prior to the event.
  2. Come around 9:30am to enjoy the pre-walk entertainment.
  3. Enter via the registration marquee on St Kilda Rd side
  4. Photo stations, face painting and entertainment will be there on the day. Merchandise will be available for pick up and for sale on the day.
  5. After the warm up you will head down to the start line and then complete the walk.
  6. After the walk you are free to continue to enjoy our great entertainment or head home.

If you are feeling unwell on the day, we ask that you don't attend. The safety of the Parkinson's community is our number one priority.

Seating - There will be seating provided on the day in front the stage for anyone who needs to sit. Best of all it is prime location for watching the band!

Toilets and Accessibility - We will be utilising the toilets at Federation Square to ensure there is full accessibility for all people. For more information around accessibility at Federation Square please visit For a map of the area with toilets please visit -

Food - Unfortunately we cannot have our traditional BBQ but we will have bottled water, soft drinks and muesli bars available. Proudly managed by the Rotary Club of Glenferrie, all proceeds from the BBQ will be donated to Fight Parkinson’s.

Water - Fill up your water bottle at water stations located along both courses and in Federation Square, near the steps to River Terrace. You can also purchase bottled water from the BBQ marquee.

Merchandise - New Fight Parkinson’s drink bottles and caps will be available for purchase on the day.

Storage - There are no storage facilities available on site, so try to limit what you bring to the event. Travellers Aid Australia at Flinders Street Station provides storage facilities. Visit for details.
