Dexter’s Cleaning is proud to be lacing up our walking shoes for Fight Parkinson’s “A Walk in the Park” on Sunday 19 May, 2026. This special event brings together people living with Parkinson’s, their families, friends, carers and supporters to walk side‑by‑side and show that no one has to face Parkinson’s alone.

For our team, this one truly means a lot. Many of us have seen Parkinson’s touch the lives of the people we care about most, whether that’s a parent or grandparent, a close friend, or one of our valued clients. We’re walking to honour their strength, to celebrate the everyday wins, and to help ensure that every person living with Parkinson’s can access the support, information and community they deserve.

Here in Australia, it’s estimated that around 219,000 people are living with Parkinson’s, including more than 57,000 Victorians – numbers that continue to grow. Fight Parkinson’s (formerly Parkinson’s Victoria) is at the forefront of providing specialised health information, education programs and advocacy, and funds raised through A Walk in the Park help keep these vital services available for the community.

By joining the walk, Team Dexter’s Cleaning is standing with everyone affected by Parkinson’s. Those living with the condition today, the loved ones who support them, and the clients who trust us in their homes and businesses. Together, we can lift the lid on Parkinson’s, raise awareness, push for better support, treatments and hope for the future.
