A Walk in a Park 2026

SISTERS WITH PARKINSONS

Six years ago, my mum and her sister—my aunty—were both diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.

Growing up, I always joked that I had two mums. Now, in my 50th year, that still feels true—only now I see even more clearly the strength, resilience, and love that they both carry every single day.

They are my inspiration.

I’m taking part in a Parkinson’s walk on Sunday 19th April, to raise funds for research, in honour of them and the countless others facing this disease. If you’re able to support, donate, or share, it would mean a great deal—not just to me, but to two incredible women who have given me everything.

Thank you 🖤

When the Parkinson’s community stands united, we can empower each other to make a difference. A Walk in the Park provides the opportunity to stand together to be seen, heard and understood. Together we can say more, do more, be more. Let’s fight Parkinson’s together.

Please donate today to help all those living with Parkinson's get the valuable support they need to live a full life.

Parkinson’s is a progressive neurological condition that affects people from all walks of life. It is quite common, with approximately 219,000 Australians, including over 57,000 Victorians living with Parkinson’s.

Your support is greatly appreciated.
