Support me as I take part in A Walk in the Park 2026

Since being diagnosed with Parkinson's disease 18 months ago I have learned much about this complex condition. Current treatments are helping me and many other people. But they mostly aim to manage symptoms. We are in need of funding for research targeting a cure. Fight Parkinson's is helpful in providing information and support for patients, carers and health professionals. I am taking part (together with my daughter Catherine and grandsons Adam and Samuel) in the 2026 A Walk in the Park for Fight Parkinson's on Sunday April 19th. This year marks the 15th anniversary of the event. The event is helping to raise awareness and funds to support the Parkinson’s community.

When the Parkinson’s community stands united, we can empower each other to make a difference. A Walk in the Park provides the opportunity to stand together to be seen, heard and understood. Together we can say more, do more, be more. Let’s fight Parkinson’s together.
