I am so excited to take part in the 2024 A Walk in the Park for Fight Parkinson's on Sunday April 21st. The event is helping to lift the lid on Parkinson’s and raising awareness and funds to support the Parkinson’s community.

When the Parkinson’s community stands united, we can empower each other to make a difference. A Walk in the Park provides the opportunity to stand together to be seen, heard and understood. Together we can say more, do more, be more. Let’s fight Parkinson’s together.

Parkinson’s is a progressive neurological condition that affects people from all walks of life. It is quite common, with approximately 219,000 Australians, including over 57,000 Victorians living with Parkinson’s.

As an Ambassador for this years Walk in the Park at Federation Square on April 21st i wish to lift the lid off Parkinsons. I am going into my 17th year of Parkinson’s & although over the years i have kept myself relatively fit with walking & exercises & still do to keep Parkinson’s at bay . There are times when all the exercise in the world does not stop the tremors, body stiffness , dyskinesia , sleepless nights & all the other systems which go with Parkinson’s from ruining part of your day. You may have a grandparent,parent,aunt ,uncle,brother,sister or a friend or just an acquaintance who is living with this illness so help me bring awareness about this disease. If you would like to donate to me or my team it would be very much appreciated or if you would like to join myself & my team in Melbourne that would be great also . Go to a Walk in the Park & donate to Jeannette Branch or Jeannette’s team to donate to a team member.

Hi everyone as walking has been a major part of my Parkinson’s  journey so far  i am participating in this years Walk in the Park with my family & friends. As an ambassador of this years walk I want to make awareness that there are more people out there that are living with Parkinson’s. By bringing all my family & freinds together we can make a difference. They do say there is strength in numbers so join me my family & friends at Federation Square on the 21st of April for a Walk in the Park. Hi to my family & friends I hope you are all well. I am honoured to have been asked by Fight Parkinsons formally known as Parkinson’s Victoria to be an Ambassador for this year’s Walk in the Park at Federation Square in Melbourne. The Walk is on Sunday the 21st of April . The aim of the walk is for me to encourage & inspire others in the community to join me on the walk to show greater strength in numbers fior those living with Parkinsons.  For anyone wishing to join me on the daiy go to Fight Parkinsons a Walk in the Park & join my team.
