A Walk in a Park 2026

Keeping in shape!

Hi Team Trish,
January 13, 2013.  That's the date I was diagnosed.  Most Parkinson's people are able to tell you how many years since they were given the diagnosis.  Of course, the first thing I did was search for information about Parkinson's on the internet.  I imagine that most people would do the same.
That's why I'm grateful when my family and my friends join in the "Fight Parkinson's" A walk in the Park.  It is a very worthy cause and we have a good day.  The information provided by is tremendous, especially for newly diagnosed.
Anyway, I've been keeping up with my physio and gym sessions to keep in shape for the walk and be able to complete the 4K course.
Thanks again for supporting the Parkies.

We're fundraising to help lift the lid on Parkinson’s and raise awareness

Our team is so excited to take part in the 2026 A Walk in the Park for Fight Parkinson's on Sunday April 19th. This year marks the 15th anniversary of the event. The event is helping to lift the lid on Parkinson’s and raising awareness and funds to support the Parkinson’s community.

When the Parkinson’s community stands united, we can empower each other to make a difference. A Walk in the Park provides the opportunity to stand together to be seen, heard and understood. Together we can say more, do more, be more. Let’s fight Parkinson’s together.

Please donate today to help all those living with Parkinson's get the valuable support they need to live a full life.

Parkinson’s is a progressive neurological condition that affects people from all walks of life. It is quite common, with approximately 219,000 Australians, including over 57,000 Victorians living with Parkinson’s.

Your support is greatly appreciated.
