Support me as I take part in A Walk in the Park 2026
This year I’m supporting my good mate Ron Keilar’s Bassi Workwear team. Each week Ron and I put up a good Fight against the mongrel Parkinson’s through exercise in our Boxing group. Ron now requires assistance for his daily activities, but with Ron’s never give in approach, so far each session it’s a case of Ron and I one each, Parkinsons nil.
And so now for this 15th Fight Parkinson’s Walk in the Park, I hope to be proudly walking along side Ronnie on the 19th of April, to be spurred on by the singing of my Glee East choir colleages near the finish.
Fight Parkinson’s provides vital support for people in Ron’s and my position. Calls to the Fight Parkinson’s Health Information Line are increasing rapidly. Every day, 38 Australians are diagnosed, and more than 219,000 Australians are currently living with Parkinson’s.
The growing demand highlights the urgent need for continued support and funding. Any support no matter how small is greatly appreciated.
