A Walk in the Park for Fight Parkinson's is on Sunday April 19th 2026.
Along with family, friends and pooches we have walked the course for the last four years.
This year I am lucky enough (and well enough) to be in Bali, our happy place when the walk is on which means I won't be at Federation Square. I am sorry to miss the walk that is becoming a tradition, a walk that leaves me feeling well supported by my beautiful family and friends. However, we can’t be in two places at once. Next year I’ll be more organised!
In the meantime my fabulous friends Roberta and Richard are keeping the tradition and will walk from Federation Square. I’m sure they would love some company! My heart is full.
The event is helping to create Parkinson’s awareness and the funds to support the ever growing Parkinson’s community.
Parkinson’s is a progressive neurological condition that affects people from all walks of life. It is quite common, with approximately 219,000 Australians, including over 57,000 Victorians living with Parkinson’s.
If you feel so inclined a donation to this wonderfull cause is greatly appreciated.
