Support me as I take part in A Walk in the Park 2024

I am so excited to take part in the 2024 A Walk in the Park for Fight Parkinson's on Sunday April 21st. My parents will be walking beside me, their eldest son, diagnosed with Parkinson's whilst serving in the Australian Army at 31 years old, while my girlfriend and our first born child of one week old, a shining light among the challenging life of those living with Parkinson's and the family and friends who share the same journey, support dad from home . The event is helping to lift the lid on Parkinson’s and raising awareness and funds to support the Parkinson’s community.

When the Parkinson’s community stands united, we can empower each other to make a difference. A Walk in the Park provides the opportunity to stand together to be seen, heard and understood. Together we can say more, do more, be more. Let’s fight Parkinson’s together.

Starting and raising a family was one of my biggest concerns while living with Young Onset Parkinson's. My girlfriend and I, were overwhelmed with joy when we brought our first child into this world two weeks ago. I have zero doubt that our son, who is more stubborn than mum and dad, will not shy away from a challenge, no matter how small or large, in life.

With just over one week until the event, and just less than one week since my girlfriend and I welcomed our first-born child into this world, I look forward to walking with everyone on the day whether showing support in person or in their own location.
