Support me as I take part in A Walk in the Park 2026
This year, I’m also introducing something new — The Shaking Mongrel.
He’s a small, scruffy, shadowy cartoon character that represents Parkinson’s itself. Not the people living with it — the disease. He’s a nuisance, a pest, a little mongrel that creeps up on 38 Australians every single day.
The Mongrel is my way of helping people visualise what we’re fighting.
And on April 19th, I’ll be walking to help tame this Mongrel — for everyone living with Parkinson’s today, and for everyone who will be diagnosed tomorrow.
When the Parkinson’s community stands united, we can empower each other to make a difference. A Walk in the Park provides the opportunity to stand together to be seen, heard and understood. Together we can say more, do more, be more. Let’s fight Parkinson’s together.
Please donate today to help all those living with Parkinson's get the valuable support they need to live a full life.
Your support is greatly appreciated... Daryl
